Huge thanks to Adoption for Pets and Pets at Home Old Kent Road from the Trustees and Henry At London Persian Rescue

July 16th, 2018

As a small kitten Henry came to us needing life saving surgery. As a small charity relying on adoption fees and donations we are so grateful to Adoption for Pets and Pets at Home Old Kent Road who awarded us a grant to help us continue with our work.

You can see Barbara and our lovely store team accompanied by Cookie one of our rescued Persian {who has just gone to a new forever home} receiving the cheque.

Thanks to our fantastic vet Rachel and her team at Vets for Pets Old Kent Road  Henry is now all grown up and living in a forever home with Carly – another London Persian Rescue adopted Persian. Rachel s care and skill and the Support Adoption  grant mean we can carry on making  many more happy endings for cats  like Henry, Carly and Cookie

Could you help us help Persian Cats? Volunteers needed

July 10th, 2018

We are a very small charity who rely on volunteers to help us rescue, re-home and rehabilitate our cats.

Could you spare some time to help us out?

Fundraising and awareness days at Pets at Home Old Kent Road

Do you love love cats and like chatting to people? Our  fundraising and awareness days at Pets at Home Old Kent Road are great fun, the store team and the customers are lovely, there is free cake, and you get to cuddle Bertie and some of our rescued Persians!!

We are so grateful to the Pets at Home team for adopting us as their local charity, so we want to support them by being as visible as possible in store.

If you  live locally and could give a couple of hours of your time on fund raising Saturdays between 9.30 and 1.30  we would love to hear from you!!

Trustee Recruitment

Some of our longstanding Trustees have retired and we are very grateful for their hard work and support over the years. We will be recruiting some new trustees in due course, but if you would like to have a chat about this please get in touch with Barbara for a chat.

Chief Fund Raiser Bertie

July 8th, 2018

Bertie is very special. He and his sister were the last kittens of a reputable breeder. His sister stayed with her, and Bertie was given to Barbara so he would get the very best care and live a long and happy life.

He is now our poster boy , with a wardrobe a WAG would envy and a growing fan club. You can see him regularly at Pets at Home Old Kent Road, often wearing his latest outfit.

When he is not modelling the latest trends Bertie likes to chill out at home  and he is a great ‘uncle’ to our rescued Persians, helping them to settle in and feel at home.
